If this only occurs when using the document feeder then you will need to clean the smaller glass that sits next to the large glass that you manualy place your documents. The document feeder scans the originals over the small glass and any ink ,whiteout that may be on the glass will appear as lines down the pages

You need to organise for a technician to come and service the machine.You can continue to use the machine.

Not knowing the model number makes this difficult to answer.try pressing every button.If one button is stuck down then it will lock up the keypad.If the machine has a touchscreen then run a business card between the screen and the surrounding cover as a stuck piece of grit or sugar can cause this problem.

Main board and engine board not communicating.Try switching off at the wall for 30 minutes.

This means that the waste toner container is full.This is located in the drum unit and is designed that the drum should be replaced with a new unit

This would indicate that your fuser unit (hot part) has failed.You have not mentioned the model so unfortunately I can not offer any more assistance...sorry

J40 means that you have a paper jam located in the fuser unit of the machine (the hot part)You will need to locate and remove the jammed paper.Faulty fuser sensor.This may need to be looked at by a technician.

if it is MFP then try cleaning copy lamp if problem not solved replace it. There is a chance of scanning cable defective.
