The tv screen has gone
Tv have 3 colors guns like R,G,B colors.Tv is missing one of it color gun.Have a soldering iron and a roll of solders? Take the tv aparts,resolders the video board soket pins holes that connected to the CRT-(tv tube).Resolder the Yoke wires like R,G,B connected to the main board too.Will solved this problems.
I have curtis mathis model
i had the same problem but i knew the cause (dog stepped on it ) what i did after looking on-line is simply opened the case of my remote (00052d) with the batteries still in and light on the remote and halfway through "popping" the hold clips down one side, the remote light shut off and it started working properly. i think that a case support strut inside was depressing a pad and that might be your problem hope this helps

Use the number buttons to enter the codes foryour Curtis Mathis TV; here some of the codes we currently have: 516, 670, 219, 507, 674, 680, 708, 664, and 650. Press the pound (#) button. To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Keep in mind that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, please try the other codes listed for that device until you find one that is compatible with your equipment.

I am trying to program
because this tv has no hyperband tuner (also called sometimes s-band or superband tuner 70-99).
but if you have an old vcr with a good tuner built in u can watch these channels over it (even a broken one which dont play anymore would do it still :))

How do u hook up
U have a RCA AV component cable R,Y,W just hook that up for the out for the VCR-out put holes and the other end of the cable R,Y,W just hook it up TV-in input holes.That it,now put TV in Video 1 or 2 and play the VCR- VHS tape.Look in ur Phone book Yellow pages.Tv repair,any tv shops can do the CRT-tv analog tv repair.

Since I can't find anything about your set except the fact that it's an older set I suspect that the trouble lies in the fact that Fios won't control a set this old. I do believe this one has an analog tuner which is now obsolete.

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for a Curtis Mathes TV (without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0030, 0047, 0054, 0060, 0093, 0145, 0154, 0166, 0451, 0702. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.
