If the card is sort of like a desktop video card then you by a a replacement. if the video card is integrated in the motherboard there are some companies that promise to replace it. Not an east task and price range is 90 to 15o US dollars. If you can see video on an external monitor then the GPU is ok.

If you did a backup before you upgraded the graphics driver then I would restore this. I would then do upgrades one step at a time with a full backup between upgrades. If you don't have a backup then I would take the opportunity to rebuild the system and take backups at various stages. By doing the backups regularly you wont get caught out by so called upgrades which actually do the opposite.

If you have a Windows password reset disk, you can easily reset forgotten Windows password with it. If not, you can follow the steps to create one. You just need an available computer
which can link to the Internet.
