Reinstall the ATK-drivers from the asus download site. Delete the old ones before reinstalling.

Which toolbar you are looking for?If I understand correctly then you can try to set screen Resolution by going to Start -> Control panel -> Just look at the bottom of appearance option and there you will see the option of screen resolution. Try it and let me know if you need more assistance.

Have you tried a System Restore to a date before this issue? Have you done ANY updates?

Click on control center and go to wi-fi settings and enable the adapter.
