There is a problem with the "service station".You are going to need a tech to look at it.

It doesn't need cleaning, it needs to be replaced. It's located on the right side of the printer behind the ride side cover. If you haven't been trained you arn't going to replace the motor. After it gets replaced the printer has to be re-calibrated. If it is still under warranty, use it. Otherwise, get a designjet tech to work on it.

21 error indicates a problem with the service station. You need to make sure that there is nothing stopping the proper movement of the service station such as a piece of paper. If you do not find anything there, shut the machine off completely and then restart. If the error returns, you will need to run the service station diagnostics, I do not have the procedure in front of me right now but if the error persists, post back a comment and I look it up for you.

79 errors are usually bad firmware that needs replaced or updated. Sometimes it is simply a bad print job being sent. Check to see if only one print job is causing this error, or if it happens with everything you try to print.

The dates are on the package for a reason. The ink dries out or changes viscosity over time and will likely clog the printhead. My advice is not to stock up on cartridges because of this problem. If you look online, you can find replacement chips or instructions on how to reset the chip on the cartridge.
