if there is a setting , it will be in the printer set up however if there is not , you have to alter the page size before pressing the print button

HP LJ P3015 with 49.4c02 error - tried lots of things in the end went into printer driver right clicked and then clicked troubleshoot - windows came up with a fix dont know if it is permanent - troubleshooter said a print job was deleted from the print queue. Presume the printer tries to print the problem job in the queue each time it is switched on.

1. Power off the printer.
2. Power on the printer while depressing both the Go and Cancelbuttons. Keep the buttons depressed. The lights will begin to flash in sequence.
3. Release the buttons when all three lights begin to flash in unison

Hi is your document you are trying to print matching paper size that is in tray 2? sometimes you have a word document that is set to print to tray 2 but the paper in tray 2 is not the right size so hit Ok twice to confirm the size. also the adjustments on the tray may need to be fixed

Firstly, you must install proper printer driver into your pc / notebook computer. Then you may enjoy the printing jobs.

Make sure that you did not lower the duplex tray. Look into the printer where the paper tray goes and make sure the path is clear. The duplex tray is dropped by pushing on a green lever on the left front of the duplex tray. Simply push the tray up until if clicks and locks in place. This is the only reason I have run into with clients as to why they cannot insert the paper tray.

Power off the printer for a minute. Power it on. Do you get the 49 error, does the printer READY? If it comes READY wait a few minutes. No 49 error? start printing, anything. 49 come back? clear the print queue after powering off the printer. Power back on. Do what you did above. No 49 error, it was probably a bad print job in the queue. If it comes back again, you will have to go to www.hp.com/support and answer the questions until you get to the FIRMWARE UPGRADE. Read it carefully and do it. It's also possible there is a bad network, bad memory or bad formatter.

The printer comes with one main tray which is referred to as tray 2. The bypass tray is labelled as tray 1.

Assuming that you have physically checked that there is paper in the tray. 1) Ensure that there is some 'springyness' under the paper. If not, is something sticking? 2) Is the paper tray damaged or not fitted properly? 3) Consider buying a Roller service Kit 4) Consider buying a new Paper tray

Hi,This could be because of few reasons, The Ink powder is not rotating inside the drum to give you the correct output.Remove the Toner and Shake it a bit. The printer will have a message in the screen saying roughly how many pages are left in the toner cartridge if the toner is running low. Try printing a "configuration page" by pressing "ok", arrow down to "information", arrow down to " print configuration page", then press "ok". If this page prints you still have toner left.

Press the Menu button , select the CONFIGURE DEVICE menu, and then select the RESETS menu. RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS. Clear the page buffer, remove all perishable personality data, reset the printing environment, and return all default settings to factory defaults. Hope this helps.

Try:
1. Turn the power off and wait 30 seconds and turn the power back on.

2. Check the cabling connections to the laser scanner assembly.

3. Try connecting the product to a different power source or surge protector.

4. If the error persists, replace the laser/scanner assembly.

Go to www.hp.com/support Put in the printer model Enter the Operating System Select the drivers and download them. If you are using Windows, go to Printers and Devices. Add Printer and go from there.

If your printer does not have a duplex unit then the printercannot print double sided pages automatically.
You can print double sided pages but you have to do it one page at a time.
First print Page 1 then place the page back into the paper tray, but turn thepage upside down and the print Page 2.
Then print page 3 on one side then page 4 on the other side and repeat for therest of the document.
I suggest you try a test page first, to get the printing the right way up onboth sides of the page so it reads correctly.
