Hi Frikkie, Although the car radio models are the same the codes are all different. the only way to get the code is to contact the car dealership from where the car came from.

need more info what brand is the radio and what is the model number. Is the radio factory or aftermarket?

plug in the wire antenna adapter in the back of the unit.

check antenna connection on the back of stereo. if that is fine, the tuner inside of your stereo may be dead.

Has an internal issue, if you know how to use a ohm meter, check the resistance of the wire on the interior of the amp, also check the fuses, ground, and power wire clean up the ground wire where it is connected to the vehicle

Try disconnecting power from radio for 20mins.

yes you have a internal fault of the amp. the circuit that puts it into safe mode is bad and that is a very small chip on the board know as a op amp. needs to be repaired.
