Your amp needs to be repaired - several parts have gone bad - there is a guy on ebay who repairs this amp and upgrades it at the same time - cost is around 150.00 ;)

Infinity PS-12 Subwoofer clicking in and out of standby

Hello,
Unfortunately your subwoofers amplifier circuitry will need to be repaired ,the amplifier is bad and kicking in to protect mode. This mode is designed for safety of the unit and user and sub should not be operated until repaired as it may incur more damage to the components. I hope this helps.

My Infinity ps-10 subwoofer makes crackling

Probably not, but you could make it into a passive subwoofer by disconencting its internal amp and powewring the driver directly by an external amp being fed by an LFE channel.

I did this with a problematic Klipsch SW.

My sub is making a funny noise when it changes

I'd guess the sub's amplifier is exhibiting wake-up instability. Most amps are smart enough to mute their outputs until things stabilize.

A brick-and-mortar tech needs to look at this.

Popping noise with hissing sound after long times about 1 hour

If I were you I would start by replacing the biggest (Capacitors) value ones first. You could put an ohm meter on any to see if they charge up when you take them out of the circuit.

My Infinity sub-woofer for my home surround sound

Open it up and see what is in there! You might find a fuse blown. It might have just blown, without a fault, if you are lucky. If not check out the part numbers on the amp board. All semiconductors numbers, then put the numbers into google. You will soon find out if they are obtainable!

Starts clicking real bad after being on for

i'm having a similar problem. and think it is due to overheating. you can when the amp panel is removed there is no way for air to escape.
the amp panel is a large piece of plastic with a black sticker over it. from the inside you can see 2 oval shaped holes just above the amp unit. try cutting the sticker portion away. (careful to power down the unit first!)
