How do I reset the date on my xp10?
use the menu to go to the tools tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Enter the tools settings and go to the date/time setup and adjust accordingly.
Hi! I have a Fujifilm Finepix XP10 waterproof
go to the setup menu and arrow over to the hour. Go up or down on the hour and the AM/PM should change as you pass the 12. If not, it's probably defective and should be repaired under warranty for you.
The FujiFilm XP10 is supposed to be shock
You probably can't, but Fuji probably can. Send it in as a warranty claim and you should receive either your camera back in a repaired state or a replacement for it. Fuji is usually able to determine whether the impact exceeds the impact resistant specifications or not.
Card Error
you should be able to re-format the card using the "tools" tab which is at the left-hand bottom side of the main menu. This should wipe out all images and any bad data that may have been stored by the memory card.
I have the FujiFilm Xp 10. I got it about 2 months
Hello
The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel
after dropping it. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the
probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.
Use
these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.
Firstly ,
try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.
Try holding the
shutter button while switching on the camera.
Look at the lens ,
and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then
try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).
Try gently
pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may
cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.
Another
way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and
then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to
not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and
down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the
camera is enough to get things going again.
Try hitting your
camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of
your hand.
Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair
center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to
replace the camera.
If it is still under warranty I would suggest
you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any
off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about
warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.
Hope
the advise is useful.
Regards
Andrea
Does camera support data stamp?
Unfortunately no, that particular camera cannot stamp time and date directly on the photos. Date and time info is embedded in the files and can be viewed on your computer with nearly all photo organizing software.

I just bought a Fujifilm Finepix HS10 and think that the Aperture doesn't work. When I turn the Aperture ring nothing Happens.
The Fujifilm Finepix HS10 camera features a manual aperture ring on the lens barrel. If you're experiencing issues with the aperture not functioning when you turn the ring, there are a few potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the camera mode: Ensure that the camera is set to Manual (M) mode or Aperture Priority (A) mode. In these modes, you should have control over the aperture settings. If the camera is in a different mode, switch to M or A mode to enable manual aperture control.
- Enable aperture ring control: Some cameras have a setting that allows you to enable or disable the use of the aperture ring on the lens. Check the camera menu or settings to ensure that the aperture ring control is enabled. If it's disabled, enable it to regain control over the aperture.
- Ensure the lens is properly mounted: Check if the lens is securely mounted to the camera body. If the lens is not properly attached, it may result in the aperture ring not functioning. Remove the lens and then carefully reattach it, ensuring it clicks into place.
- Clean the electrical contacts: Dust or debris on the lens contacts or camera contacts can sometimes interfere with communication between the camera and lens. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the contacts on both the lens and camera body. This can help ensure proper electrical connections.
- Update the camera firmware: Visit the Fujifilm support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your Finepix HS10 camera. Updating the camera's firmware can address potential bugs or issues that may affect the aperture functionality. Follow the instructions provided by Fujifilm to update the firmware if necessary.
If you have tried these troubleshooting steps and the aperture ring still does not function as expected, it is advisable to contact Fujifilm customer support or take the camera to an authorized service center for further assistance. They will have the expertise to diagnose the specific issue and provide appropriate solutions or repairs if needed.
Fujifilm fine pix camera won't turn on
Old batteries will take a charge, albeit more quickly and cannot supply enough power to carry on working.
Time to purchase a new battery and hope you won't need a new camera as well.
My Fujifilm Finepix S8000FD was unused for a long time and had its batteries leaked, I cleaned it and it says batteries are empty?
It takes 4 x AA batteries. Are the battery contacts on the compartment door, and the battery contacts in the base of the compartment clean and shiny. Usually when batteries leak, they cause oxidization on the metal.
The camera does have very specific requirements.
Batteries are required to operate the digital camera. At
first, load the batteries in the camera.
Compatible batteries
AA-size alkaline batteries (4) or AA-size Ni-MH
rechargeable batteries (4) (sold separately)
CAUTION
• Never use the following types of
batteries, as they could cause
serious problems such as battery
fluid leakage or overheating:
1. Batteries with split or peeling
outer casings
2. Combinations of different
types of batteries or new and used batteries together
• Do not use manganese, Ni-Cd or lithium batteries.
• Use the same brand and grade AA-size alkaline
batteries as those supplied with the camera.

And on the next page it shows the polarity two up, and two down. If those weren't correct, you would be on reduced power.

What's the problem and how to fix it fujifilm a100 10 mega pixel digital camera
Without more information about the specific problem you are experiencing with your Fujifilm A100 10 megapixel digital camera, it is difficult to provide a specific troubleshooting solution. Here are a few general tips that may help resolve common issues with digital cameras:
- Check the battery level and replace the batteries if they are low or depleted.
- Check the memory card for any errors or corruption. Try formatting the card or using a different card to see if that resolves the issue.
- Make sure that the camera is not in a mode that is preventing it from functioning properly (e.g., "Movie" mode when trying to take still photos).
- Check the camera lens for any dirt, dust, or debris that could be obstructing the image. Clean the lens with a microfiber cloth or compressed air if necessary.
- Check the camera's firmware version and make sure that it is up to date. If it is not, consider updating the firmware to the latest version.
