There is not a set time for bulb life. The projector will have a timer built in to tell you how many hours it's been running. I've had projectors that I've reset the warning twice before I've noticed any performance issues with the bulb. That particular bulb has a life of approx 2000 hrs, so go through the menu on your projector and find the "lamp timer" or something similar to that and do some simple math. :)

This same thing happened to me, I removed the bulb and put it back in, it reset something and I was able to use the projector again.

Try using a new cable and scrolling through the inputs.

I wouldn't think that this is a lamp issue , as the lamp will make the picture fade away in brightness and wouldn't look white washed.

Check if the brightness is set to 50% and the contrast on 50% as well.

This could be a colourwheel that is in need of replacement.

Hi, please check the serial number of the fans that are supposed to be the same. They might be different in some way because otherwise, the error should not have occurred. If the products have the same serial number or similar type of id, then I would take the projector to geeksquad/bestbuy to double check that the new fan was installed properly. Thank you.
