Press in the tabs on the sides of the solution tank and pull it out. Fill it with water and solution to the fill line.

1) Make sure there is water in the solution tank.

2) Try priming the machine by instructing the consumer to squeeze the trigger

repeatedly for 1 to 2 full minutes. Important: If you cannot

squeeze the trigger all the way in, remove the tank from the back of the

machine and then try squeezing the trigger with the tank removed. There is an

internal valve that could be sticking. By removing the solution tank and squeezing

the trigger, it should break it loose, allowing the trigger to be fully depressed.

3) Make sure the open end of the siphon tube in the solution tank is not pushed into the

side of the tank, covering the end of tube. If it is, push the bend in the

Siphon tube toward the back of the solution tank.

4) Check to see if the siphon tube has become disconnected from the outlet fitting on

the inside of the solution tank. If so, you need to buy a replacement solution tank. Parts

can be found at www.bissell.com

5) Check to see if air comes through the spray tip by repeatedly squeezing the trigger

with solution tank off the unit. If not, spray tip may be clogged. Try and unclog

spray tip with a pin or paper clip.

If still no spray, please check the following:

a) Make sure the solution tank is installed properly.

b) Check to see if black O-ring is present on rear connector to solution tank.

No one says the output voltage and amperage, you just buy them for the Bex Bissell unit. They are dual voltage in 110 to 220. If you have the old one, it will be written in tiny writing on the charger, usually white writing on the face and engraved on the inner surface where the pins are.
