Hi there, its either full, has a jam or one of the compartments may not be fully closed. Check all of these things. It may also be overheated unplug it and wait a few and plug it back in 5-10 minutes is about a normal wait reset time for shredders . Good luck https://www.6ya.com/mr.mike

Staples Shredder, SPL-TXC 122A won't shred. Not jammed. It stopped, the house fuse blew. It now runs in reverse, but it will shred. Others mention melting or gear teeth breaking. Lost cause?
