probably find that some cutters have been damaged and are hitting each other rather than sliding past each other using wd 40 is lubricating those cutters but as the lubricant is used by the new paper it becomes inefficient get a quote for repairs but generally ( unless the machine cost is in the 4 figure area) it is not cost effective to repair

There is an optical sensor that needs to be cleaned. It is usually at the middle of the slot where you put paper to be shredded. Use canned air to blow out both holes (one on each side of the slot). Hope this helps.
