Here are the steps to reset the Lamp Timer for your Panasonic Multimedia Projection HDTV:

  1. Plug your Television in.
  2. Press the POWER button on the TV or the remote control.
  3. Press and hold the VOL- button on the TV, while holding the 0 button on the remote control for at least 5 seconds.
  4. When the reset procedure is complete, a confirmation screen will appear.
  5. Release the buttons and the LAMP indicator will go out.

Definitely lamp is not installed properly if TV was working fine before replacment.
Also check for wright part number on new lamp,or new one is defective.

Recheck all the connections.
It is possible the replacement lamp is faulty.

could be the connection they most likely used a flat flex cable and it could have gotten to hot and melted or it could be connected via wires and may have melted

It could be that the batteries have stopped working in the remote or the buttons are stuck or broken or jammed or that the remote is on the wrong setting and needs to be changed to the correct settings in order for it to work.
