If there is a fuse, it will be on the power board, easy to spot, a glass cased fuse, or a small white ceramic fuse. Normally though, a 125,000 volts wrecks everything connected to power. https://www.google.com/search?q=Denon+X6700h+has+no+power ..

Considering you have a standby light we know the hot side of the power board is working, next step is test the power on signal coming from the main board, it should be marked on the legend on the power board what pin is power on, will be marked PO_ ON PWR or something like that, you need at least 3 vdc there when you turn the set on, if it's missing replace the main board, if you see voltage replace the power board, easy simple fix with only one measurement, verses guessing what board is bad. Sorry you didn't get any other useful help, there are some posters on here giving non helpful generic help anyone would know to try

Appears to be a software problem. Unfortunately, some blu-ray players contain software that expires, requiring you to repurchase newer, more expensive software from the manufacturer in order to continue to play blu-ray discs. Check your software for the player. No freeware blu-ray software out there.

You can use a USB stick for region A, B or C. (1, 2 of 4) On the USB stick there is one file named autoscript with the following : CLI(CLI_app.homemenu.set_bdreg 4). ,4 you can also use 1 or 2 this depends on the disired region. sounds like its stoping during layer switch, if the player is old its needs to be cleaned. its best to clean it once every 20hrs or so. if you do not have a disk cleaner you should go buy one first. if the player is new return it and get the best dvd player you can buy for any amount the toshiba xde. this player is phenomenal, the best you will be amazed. no i dont work for toshiba but ever since they started making hd dvd players(i know they stopped)there players have become the best. trust me if you dont think so just return it. no harm done. if you want a blu-ray get ps3 I dont like them either but i have to admit after buying (for movies only)my third blu-ray player it is by far the best one. almost as good as the toshiba on standard dvd playback but not quite. good luck.
