How long do you recommend running this heater for?
I think that you should be fine leaving it on as long as it isn't close to any law school books or outlines, as those are known to be combustible. However, if you're worried about damaging anything of value, I would recommend covering the heater with any pea-coats that you may have laying around.

It has just quit working completely weve had this
did this heater get knock over, sometimes the safety switch gets hung up inside, cheap bi-metal switchs that cycle the heating element burn, power supply, bad plug or recepticle, heck put a high amp relay in and a wall thermostat,it'll probably say made in china on the back

My sunbeam heating pad remote is flashing the letter f
My sunbeam XL heating pad started blinking and I couldn’t figure it out. I Unplugged a couple of times and still it kept flashing. After hours of reading post, I did what wpart suggested and now it works normal again..... I kept pushing th on off button while plugged in, I unplugged it while still hitting the on off button, I plugged it back in while still hitting the on off button annnddddd drum roll please!!!!!!
