Air conditioner will not cool bedroom

It sounds like the unit is failing to refrigerate, the cracking noise is most likely a compressor fault (trying to run) it may be stalled or have suffered a motor failure. The noise may also be an electrical short but unlikely as this would trip the safety trips in the house.
If you still have warranty i would return it or demand a HVAC engineer to inspect and repair faults.

all the best

I am looking for a

If you try with electronic spares shop, you will be able to get some replacement for the knob. A universal type can always be fitted and you can source this even from the gas/oven spare parts stores.
Also if you check with any AC repair shops the knob can easily be salvaged from an old non working set. I am sure you can find one from any of these shops.
Hope my advice helps. Good day

* **Online retailers:** There are a number of online retailers that sell replacement controllers for Sunbeam electric blankets. A quick search should turn up a few options.
* **Local hardware stores:** Some local hardware stores may also carry replacement controllers for Sunbeam electric blankets. It's worth checking with your local store to see if they have any in stock.

Once you've found a replacement controller, you can either install it yourself or have a professional do it for you. If you're not comfortable installing the controller yourself, you can take your blanket to a qualified electrician or repair shop.

Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting your Sunbeam BL0750 electric blanket:

* Check the power cord to make sure it's plugged in securely.
* Try using a different outlet.
* Check the fuse or circuit breaker to make sure it's not tripped.
* If you've tried all of these things and the blanket still doesn't work, you may need to replace the controller.

I hope this helps!

Sunbeam Mix Master 10086659 (1970's ?) burning odor

There is chance that arcing brushes in the motor are causing the odor. They should be replaced and the armature cleaned. A sunbeam repair shop can refurbish your mixer if the parts are still available.

The remote on my Sunbeam heated matress pad won't come on I put in new batteries no help it worked fine last winter

Try these: -Make sure the remote battery contacts are clean; -clean fully charged battery surfaces with a lead pencil eraser to remove oxide; -could be loose contacts or cold solder joint on remote control board, especially if dropped a lot. if not tech savvy probably better to recycle old unit and purchase a new one . good luck!

I HAVE A DUAL CONTROL SUNBEAM BLANKET 85KQP GIVES A FF ERROR ON THE SCREEN OF BOTH CONTROLS AND I DO NOT HAVE THE INSTRUCTIONS TO RESET THE CONTROLS. SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP WITH THE PROBLEM THANKYOU

Try unplugging the power cord from the wall socket and check that the connection to the blanket is good and not loose. Then plug back into the wall socket and switch on. If error still occurs then there may be a problem with the blanket.
