This unit stopped working and displayed the PF code for Probe Failure. I fixed it by removing 6 screws for the panal and 4 screws for the back panal and removing the 5 screws and 1 screw holding the ground wire off the silver box with the circuit board in it then I un plugged the little plug for the 2 probes with the black wires in it and replugged it in and wiggled it several times with the unit pluged in (be carefull not to get shocked I recomend someone with electrical experiance do this for you) the plug must get corroded but this fixed my unit.

Good luck.

I bought a DeLonghi PACC120E

All units of that sort come with a hose which goes on the back or the side, if you don't have this unit is useless

Filter wont come out

If filter does not slide straight up an out, You need a Phillips screwdriver. . 1) take off both sides.6 screws each side, 4 under plastic caps. 2) top back there are 2 screws above the filter need the top of the unit. 3) on the top piece there are 2 screws, 1 on each side. Slide half of top off giving you better access to remove filter. Remember to reassembly in reverse

I bought a DeLonghi PACC120E portable a/c with no manual. The unit does not cool, and it dumps water. How do I get it to blow cool air?

I would drain the water out of the machine via the plug on the back once the unit is drained turn on, wait a few minutes. If compressor does not come on or comes on and does not cool, you need service beyond diy.

How do you empty tank?

It is actually a pan with a float that when full will stop the unit. On the back of the unit, bottom, there is a rubber plug. Have a pan ready and I would advise have the unit up on a couple of 2x4s or bricks...I used a short tube and drained it into a baking pan, it is too heavy to get into a bathtub or shower.

I am empting the tank of water every two days, need help. Thanks

Air conditioners and dehumidifiers are closely related. Any air conditioner operating in a humid environment will extract moisture from the air and with an outside or window unit, this collected condensation has an escape path and these are not equipped with a container to hold the collected water .A stand-alone portable unit does not have any other way to dispose of the condensate other than the internal container . . .and you.Your unit is not defective, you just have it operating in a high-humidity area.

How to change or clean

DeLonghi has the manuals for their portable air conditioners here: http://delonghiusa.com/support/product_manuals/5#table-jump . The direct link to the PAC C120 manual is http://delonghiusa.com/support/sites/default/files/product_manuals/m-PAC+C120.pdf .

Before cleaning, turn off the air conditioner. To clean the filter, pull it straight up from behind the top of the air intake (on the back of the PAC C120). Vacuum off the filter. If it is very dirty, immerse it in warm water and rinse several times. (The water should not above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees F)) several times. Then allow the filter to air dry. Slide the filter back into the air conditioner and turn the unit back on.

I hope this helps.
