Dishwasher has buzzing noise when running

This may be the same problem we had, although the noise was more like grinding instead of buzzing. The motor shaft drives the pump and water can easily enter the motor bearing. This rusts the bearing which causes noise and slows down the motor, making the wash action even weaker than normal. Mfr claims there is no design issue but guess what? They have added a 2 cent barrier to prevent this problem on the replacement part. You cant buy just the motor, you get the entire motor/pump/disposal assembly and its pretty expensive, but basically you are replacing most of the working parts so the machine should be like new if the washing arms are not plugged (which they usually are).

Dishes don't always get clean, particularly on the

Greetings,
first off, let me say this..its not intended to be used as a garbage disposal.. it has a strainer(screen) and a blade that grinds up food , but not like you would use in your sink disposal. its for small amounts of foodstuffs that failed to come off after you have rinsed off your dishes.

the lower spray arm by un-screwing the center cap clockwise (yes this is the opposite of normal threading direction, the plug will go down and out the back of the spinner).

5) Both the fine filter (round 8") and the water conduit leading back and up to the top will need to be removed.

6) The water conduit has to be removed. It might be possible to take it apart, but the more direct approach is to release the back (here) clip, and the top clip.

7) A similar clip must be released at the top:

8) With the water conduit released from the clips, the whole assemble must be rotated thirty degrees clockwise about the central pump outlet. This will release this plastic item from its bayonet mount there so it can be removed.

9) Remove this thing.

10) Remove first of three torqx screws to release the filter. The screws are at ten o'clock, eight o'clock and 4'clock. This is the eight o'clock screw.

11) Remove the second of three torqx screws to release the filter. This is the ten o'clock screw.

12) Remove the third of three torqx screws to release the filter. This is the four o'clock screw.

Kitchen Aid Model KUDT03FTSS2 -- no water getting

Make sure the water tap into the sink hot water plumbing has not been turned off. Check the routing of the water line which feeds the washer to look for kinks somewhere. The inlet water solenoid in the washer base may have failed--if no click when water should go in, suspect the solenoid. It is a fairly simple thing to replace. The last suspect would be a failure of part of the control system that signals the inlet solenoid. Hope this helps!
