Unable to open EXCELL 2007 workbook containing a circular reference problem.

open Excel Click the 'Microsoft Office' button and click 'Excel Options'. Click the 'Formulas' button. From 'Calculation options' section, un-select the 'Automatically' option. then use file->open->yourfile.xlsx. It should now open. Find the circular reference and fix it. Then save the file.

What is a workbook?

A workbook is a spreadsheet file. By default, each workbook in Excel contains three pages or worksheet

The term spreadsheet is often used to refer to a workbook, when in actual fact, spreadsheet refers to the computer program, such as Excel.

My excel files are corupted

What is the meaning of rows?

In Microsoft Excel, "rows" refer to data cells grouped together horizontally across a single line. The numbers on the far left of the screen refer to a row number. Similarly, the letters at the top of the workbook page refer to the columns.

Here is a picture to help:

In this example, there are 3 rows. All the cells in Row 1 contain the words "Row 1" and are color-coded orange. Likewise, All the cells in Row 2 are pink, and those in Row 3 are blue. Do note, however, that even though the boxes under the letter "F" aren't color-coded, they are still in the respective rows. Each color-coded line could extend for an infinite number of boxes, and each box of the same color would be part of that row.

The active window is selected.

Some cells might be formatted for numbers only. Check cell format.

Your font is white and you can't see your typing.

How can I open .dbx files ?

To backup the data files, in OE go to Tools > Options > Maintenance > Data Folder. Copy down the location of folder. Navigate to folder and backup Also do a search for and back up <user>.wab file. This is your contacts files. You need to unhide hidden files to see this file and above folder. In Windows XP, open Windows Explorer or any folder. Click on Tools > Folders Options > View. Check "Show hidden files and folders". If you want to see system files as well, unclick Hide protected operating system files. Click OK. OR DBX Viewer Tool found on reader .dbx files, and it can help almost managed to scratch out all the messages from the file! Then save them as separate files, and then put back into OE. While working. Now we have to find the address book, it is also somewhere to go away until I found : http://www.dbx.viewertool.com/

Setup cannot find Office.en-us\OfficeLR.cab

All what u need to do are:
  1. copy the whole content of the cd to desktop
  2. open run type regedit
  3. go to local machine>software
  4. find the file named office and delete it
  5. reinstall office from desktop and make sure that the office cd still in ur optic drive
  6. when the pop-up said office cannot ...........appeared select the file from ur cd/dvd drive...solved
