The Burn & Go X software installation requires a preliminary installation of Microsoft Framework 1.1. I suspect this was not done and the software is trying to make use of later frameworks with which it is only partially compatible. The software is no longer in production. The files are in a format - .mc2 or .mx2 - and place that the program can't find.

By the way the 5 version is designed strictly for XP so there is a very high probability to fail if you try to run it in 7. For 7 you must buy and install the last version

Try re-downloading the software (it should be free to re-download since you have already paid for it). Try to get clip art again. when it says insert disk, it should show a browse button where you can map to the file you just downloaded. if that doesn't work, run the installation file and do a custom install. You should be able to install the clip art through there.

If you have a 64bit OS installed and there is o software that doesn't run on it you can always use a software to create a virtual 32bit OS. I recommend VirtualBox because it's free but you can try others too. Here is a list of virtual machine software:

First try repairing the program using the original CD or the Installer file so that it'd repair all the missing or corrupt files of the installed program.

Scan the system with few antivirus, like, avira, avg, avast, etc.. and try again (Note: not only one antivirus is enough, but don't ever install multiple antiviruses, it could bring system instability, if one of them is to be installed then, you have to first remove/uninstall the existing..)..

If you load a new version of an existing program, it may depend on the new program whether it will overide and revise the existing program or whether it will load as a totally seperate program; thereby having both old and new programs available and most likely 2 different icons on your desktop screen (one for each version).
Some upgrade (Newer) versions will give you the option of choosing to keep the old and have the new one loaded without any interference to the existing version, or to have the new version "take-in" the information of the existing version and then eliminate the need for existing program .
