How to lenovo y650 reset bios password
If you forgot the password then you'll have to reset it. See if there are any password reset tools from Lenovo to help you through this problem. If not, then pull the CMOS battery of the unit to reset the unit back to the factory settings. This should clear the password and may also reset the time and date too.
The battery is usually found through a little access panel somewhere on the unit's underside. You'll need to research this on your own but I suspect removing the panels underneath the unit will expose it. The battery looks like a CR2032 battery. Sometimes it is covered in black plastic and has black and red wires coming out of it with a tiny connector on the end.

My y650 ideapad turns on, tries to load Microsoft
Ok at boot up press F8, when the Menu comes up, choose Safe Mode, but this time instead of going to the desktop, choose System Restore, follow instructions, and when the Calender type window comes up, simply choose a time BEFORE, the time it went faulty. This should completely restore you to working again. As long as there are NO other problems.

How to record music on
1) Turn on your mic
2) Start windows sound recorder
3) Start recording
4) Jam out on your instrument(s)
5) Stop recording
In truth, this is a terrible device to record music on. You should look into getting a mixer (with as many tracks as you need) and a dedicated computer with a high quality sound card (M-Audio) is a good brand.
If you're thinking about making electronic music, look into FL Studio. http://flstudio.image-line.com/

Lenovo c540 continuously beeps on start with an empty blue screen. No cursor
Thank you for contacting Fixya.
Based from what i read in your post, seems like some hardware issue, Please try disconnecting all cable and hard drive , optical drive & card reader.
Create a minimum set and check booting the system also tries using some different Memory module to verify. If system is working fine, now try connecting devices one by one to check which device is creating the issue.
If Issue is not fixed please contact local Lenovo Support to have your system verified
