This "can" be malware, but is most likely your pointer device going wonky. First unplug the mouse, trackball, or whatever it is you are using for a mouse. If you are still using an old PS2 connection (round plug), consider getting a USB mouse to replace it. Plug your mouse back in and see if it solves the problem. Try a new mouse. If it's not the mouse (you just said the cursor is moving) it could be that the left arrow on your keyboard is stuck. In that case, rake your keyboard, tap ******* the arrow keys, turn over the keyboard and shake out any large Cheeto crumbs, use compressed air (if possible) to blow the dust out. Unplug your keyboard from the computer and plug it back in. If you are still using the old PS2 keyboard (round plug), consider getting a USB keyboard to replace it. *** warning *** warning, do NOT throw out the old PS2 plug keyboard if you replace it. You may need it to get into the BIOS some time in the future if the electronics don't recognize a USB keyboard on boot.

Attach to external monitor, if it works, there is a fuse that is blown near the video output cable. Not big enough for a novice to fix. If not shown on external, it is a dead lcd, or bad solder ball issue. Quite common on those models. Fuse details may be shown on my webblog. "Getting In Too Deep" Google it. Im very sorry to hear that, please follow these simple steps for you to be able to isolate the exact problem.


1. Removed the battery.
2. Connect the laptop directly to the power outlet without using the battery just for the meantime.
3. Turn on the laptop. If the laptop is able to power on, that means that the AC adapter is working fine as well as the DC port. If the laptop is not able to turn on, it maybe the AC adapter itself or the DC port.
4. Try to use another AC adapter if possible, make sure that that AC adapter is working fine. If the laptop is still not turning on, the problem is with the DC port itself. In that case, you will need to replaced the Motherboard itself.

Possible there is fault in the OS , a possible virus could have reset the registry files. You can take a virus scan, use a registry check or repair or finally try to RESTORE the pc to an earlier date.
if none of these work the PC must be reinstalled with the OS and drivers.
Check to see if the audio properties, try to disable and reinstall drivers.

When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator to log in if you cant log in

during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there

or

control panel user accounts

on the users tab,click the name of the computer administrator you can change the password there

turn the pc on and hit ctrl+alt+delete (task manager)
if it comes up
click new task,
type in explorer.exe
and click next
it should work but not always
if it does immediately download and run Malwarebytes free version from www.malwarebytes.org.
see if you catch a registry problem
also if you know how when you save malwarebytes to desktop it will show up as MBAM.exe...rename it to winlogon.exe install, update, and run full scan.
