Alpine CDE-143BT Advanced Bluetooth CD Receiver Questions & Answers
Why won't it turn on?
You have bent one of the small tines that engages the detachable faceplate with the unit itself most likely. You will need to get a magnifying glass and a fine jewelers screwdriver to straighten any bent tine so it connects properly.
How do i get code for bluetooth
First make sure that Bluetooth is on on the CDE-143BT. Press and hold Audio/Setup (below and to the right side of the rotary encoder dial until you enter the Setup mode. Use the rotary dial to get to Bluetooth. Press the Search/Enter button (the center of the rotary dial). Then use the rotary encoder to go through the Bluetooth Settings menu. Press Search/Enter to toggle the current value. After Bluetooth is on, go to Visi M setting and make sure that it is on. Now, you need to go to the Bluetooth settings area of your cell phone when it is within range of the receiver. Tell it to pair with the receiver. Then when it asks for the code enter "0000". This code is hard encoded into the unit. See page 23 of the manual for the CDE-143BT for the code. The manual is available here:
http://vault.alpine-usa.com/products/documents/OM_UTE-42BT_CDE-SXM145BT_CDE-143BT_EN.pdf . Surrounding pages show setting the other Bluetooth settings.
Note: the receiver will be acting like a Bluetooth headset. That's why you need to enter the receiver's PIN on the phone.
I hope this helps.

I need a Manual for a Alpine Vie-x077 in English and also anyone know why it keeps saying the disc needs to be ejected but it won't
- Mechanical Issue: There might be a mechanical problem with the disc drive or the eject mechanism. It's possible that a part is jammed or not functioning correctly.
- Dirty or Damaged Disc: If the disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged, the player may have difficulty reading it and thus not ejecting it properly.
- System Error: There could be an internal error within the player's software or firmware causing it to not recognize the disc properly or to malfunction when attempting to eject it.
- Power Issue: Sometimes, power-related issues can affect the functionality of electronic devices. Ensure that the player is receiving adequate power and there are no loose connections.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Turn off the player and then turn it back on to see if it resolves the issue.
- Try ejecting the disc using the manual eject button (if available). This button is usually a small pinhole near the disc slot. You can insert a paperclip or a similarly sized object into the hole to manually eject the disc.
- If possible, try using a different disc to see if the problem persists. If other discs work fine, then the issue may be with the original disc.
- Check for any visible obstructions around the disc slot and remove them if present.
- If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Alpine customer support for further assistance or consider taking the player to a qualified technician for repair.
