Panasonic tv hdmi inputs not working
It appears that during the storm there may have been an electrical surge that damaged the electronics of your tv. If the tuner is working fine then the affected area (board) is the one that has the HDMI input sources.
Panasonic plasma tv indicator light blinks 10 times
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

I have a Panasonic TCP55GT30 and the red power light flashes seven times.
I also had the 7 blinking lights and no picture on my TCP55GT30 16 month old TV. The diagnositics show a bad SC board. Panisonic will cover the cost of the board only. The $350 labor charge is mine to eat. I spoke to Panisonic and they basically don't care. They know they have a problem but aren't willing to accept it and recall the boards or cover the total repair cost. So for me I think the cost (25% of the total cost of the TV) on top of what I already paid for the TV is rediculous. This was supposed to be a state of the art, top quality TV, which it obviously is not. My $300 Emerson flat screen, 4 yr old TV work just fine. I wil never buy another Panisonic product in my life time. I understand that things go wrong with anything, but the difference is how the company handles the problem. Oh yeah, my brothers did the same thing at 12 months. Real quality.

I need sub titles
Greetings - Subtitles are not a function of the TV but are provided by the media your watching (if the source has subtitles at all). They come from either the TV broadcast, DVD or whatever other video source you watch.
Are you sure you don't mean Closed Captioning (CC) instead?

I have a Panasonic TCP58S1 and the red power light
This problem is associated with a failed SU/SC/SD board. Remove the back cover of the tv and see if the LED on any of the boards is lit. If yes then get me the part number off it and I will tell you which of the three is faulty
What board should I change
Three blinks of the power LED indicates an over-current or over-voltage condition in one of the DC supplies of the AP board. The AP board is repairable. Therefore the use of an ohmmeter and peak-hold-voltmeter is required to determine the cause of the shutdown. An over-voltage condition is definitely a defect of the AP board. An over-current condition may be due to a short circuit located in the AP board, A board, or the LCD panel.
