Upgrade CPU on Matsonic MS8147C+

Unfortunately I think the Athlon XP is a 462 pin package and the MS8147C+ has a SocketA/Socket 462 socket for the CPU. The Athlon 64 3800+ is a 940 pin package and requires a AM2 socket, so this CPU will not physically fit.

Does this have a SATA connection for a SATA HDD

I cant find specs or a good big pic so I can see it, the sata jacks are similar in appearance to usb potrs, on the Motherboard they are usually clumped together (If there's more than one), If it doesn't have them you can get a PCI card with SATA potrs and put that in.

Ms8157e on board video problems

You would need to do this from the BIOS. You would gain access to the BIOS during the first boot screen prior to Windows. It will either be "F12" or the "del" key most likely.

Once there, you'll most likely be looking fo something related to Integrated Peripherals and specifically onboard video adapter. You'd want to select some sort of disable option for this.

I have a matsonic ms9377c+ motherboard that will not accept 2-1gig memory modules. They are crucial memory and the right type. Put one in and it works, put two in and it wont even fire up. switched bo

You said you tried them both one at a time....did you try one at a time trying both sockets? Sometimes a defective memory slot will cause the symptom you describe. Also, in rare cases, memory modules of the same type and speed may not operate together.
