Matsonic ms9158e+ audio driver

Sound is VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller (WDM) on VIA VT8235 chip. I couldn't use one from Matsonic either, because there's nowhere to download it from, so I used one from ECS P4VMM2(V1.3): 8235_350b (VIA AC'97 Audio Codec Sound Driver) preXP, and worked like a charm.

Sound drivers

Here is a link to the sound driver for you motherboard. The first thing you will need to do is click on the "download" link next to the operating system that you are running on your computer. Then you can either run the file which will unzip it and begin installation, or you can save it to your computer, then go back and unzip it manually to install. I suggest running the software.

I've uploaded the motherboard manual for you here: http://www.weeks-behind.com/fixya/MS9158E.PDF

See page 14 and locate panel 2. Then refer to the panel 2 diagram on page 21, which show both the power and reset switches or leads.

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause this problem:

follow the troubleshooting procedure a computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every device and to have an end to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working hope this helps also it could be a dirty computer clean all of the dust from your computer you could use a vacuum cleaner but whatever you use make absolutely sure there is no moisture gets to anything in your computer

also check the Cmos battery and computer ram make sure they are securely seated

hope this helps:

Hi can u fixed my

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers or uninstall click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the (((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer make sure you have an earth ******** before touching any parts inside your computer hope this helps

yap you can see the lay out on the user manual. like PIn 1-3 or 1-2 like that and the mother board will show which one is the 1st pin.
