NEED SOUND DRIVER FOR MATSONIC

The audio on this board is C Media. To go to the download link click HERE. Okay, this is what you need to do. Download the Zip file from the link choosing save. Save it somewhere easy to find like your desktop. Unzip the files into a folder there. Now go into device manager (in XP) and expand the sound tree. Choose update driver and the hardware wizard will open. Select choose driver myself (don't let Widows automatically choose etc..) On the third screen select search for driver here and browse to the folder you unzipped on your desktop. Click next and you should see folders star to trnsfer. If so you are in business and if Windows complains that it hasn't passed Windows logo test just ignore and continue. Hope this helps.

Pc not boting

you need to run the Windows XP recovery console.. Should be on the XP CD.. Configure your BIOS to boot order your CD ROM drive first.. Have the disk in the CD drive when you reboot, and choose the Recovery console from the menu.. Once it's loaded, and it asks which Windows Installation you would like to access, choose the right one (usually # 1), then enter the ADMINISTRATOR password then you'll be at a command prompt... There, you can view the directory of the C: and the C:\windows folders, as well as the contents of the XP disk in your CD drive.. you'll need to copy the "NTLDR.dll" file to the Root directory, usually C:\ .. Reboot, if no succes you have to reinstall windows again. Please make a copy of the 25 digit code. Here you can download all the drivershttp://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=181558&si=3c37af981ca3324988fee5ce29463212&sp=1The file needs to be unziped Good luck
