If you have a PC (Windows) then you MUST use Java V6 as the software interface between your computer and the Igolf site. If you have already switched to Java version 7, it just won't work. Google: neo Java and you'll begin to see the problems. No support from either Bushnell or Igolf on this. I had removed Java (re: all the recent security issues being discussed and installed V7. The application would not launch. I had to remove V7 and go fishing for V6 on the internet and reinstall it. Then I wwas back to it working. There are a number of other issues people are having (two accounts on the same machine... neo and trying to register neo+), Registration expirations, etc. If you can reach the Igolf/Bushnell real technical support people, you will have a better time of getting what you need to work. GEEEEzzzz. Bad, Bushnell! The neo series is great but this iGolf married is playing havoc on your customers!If you have a MAC, then you need to Google MAC, etc.

I had the same problem with my bushnell neo plus. I used the igolf.com website's support/contact to ask for help, included my unit's ID. Igolf responsed teh next morning by releasing my ID. I was able to setup my profile and sync my device without a problem. Try igolf's customer support, impressive.

I see that you need to "sync" your MAC with your Bushnell Yardage pro for you to upload your downloaded courses. The only way for your MAC to communicate with the GPS is to download this application that will sync the 2 devices :

Check the bottom of the screen after clicking on the link and choose the "SYNC APP" tab (shown below):


Then choose and click the one for Mac, download the installation files until it's complete.

After the installation, run the setup file and you should be able to connect the GPS with your Mac afterwards. The link also has some helpful tools and FAQs.

I think that you should browse manually from that point and select the browser if this is what it asks for ..or ...insert the disk ..and connect the device ..and get from the browser to the manufacturer site..and see if they have a wizard you have to run for the procedure...I know for sure that the map loading requires some wizard ...
if your maps are not from Bushnell ...and are from Garmin for example ...get to the site from where the maps are ..
Or just look on the disk if there is such a wizard /program that you might need to run first ..

Make sure that you are using the proper usb cable. Is the computer recognizing the gps?

This seems to be a problem on PCs using Windows 7.

Solution:

1) Click on your Start Menu
2) Select Computer
3) Open Local Disk C.
4) Open Program Files
5) Open Bushnell
6) Open Neo Sync
7) Open Native
8) Delete IGolf.lck
9) Close out of everything, restart your PC, and attempt to launch the Sync Application again when your computer has started back up.

If the above fails to solve the problem, you need to install a new USB driver. Contact iGolf at 858-300-5513 and they will email you the PL2303 Prolific Driver.

I'm not sure. One might try a "reset". Or, there might have been a problem syncing the watch with the database and you can try the syncing process again. Or, there might be a problem with the updating process. Each of these possibilities must be eliminated. Unless there is a watch internal fault, a common problem is not being able to see the necessary satellites. This commonly occurs when there are obstructions between the watch and where it looks for the satellites. If it still has a problem when you are out in an area open to all horizons, then it will probably need repairing or replacing. Fist make sure that your charging is working And clean your charging port. If that does not do thee trick the can be the battery going bad see where you can take it to have the battery check and if is needed then replace the battery.

You may not have kept that. Or, you may not have purchased the watch from an authorized dealer. If you find you need the watch serial number to register your purchased watch, it may be located inside the watch battery compartment. NOTE: The instructions for your model watch state the following: WARNING Do not attempt to open the Neo+ Watch. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced with incorrect type. •Do not attempt to open, disassemble or service the internal battery. The battery must be replaced by a qualified technician.
