Hi,here is my simple solution...
If you want to listen your TV on your Stereo system thru your receiver,
** you need to connect "Audio Output " RCA jacks or "Optic cable output" of your TV
** to "AUX input " or "TV" OR "Any input" of your receiver ( except Phone ) or "Optic Cable input"
** than just switch to respective mode on RECEIVER corresponding your RCA or Optic connection...
There you go..Your TV sound is on the Receiver..By this means whatever you watch on the
TV (
tuner, satellite , Xbox ) ,it's sound will come thru your stereo..

Hope this helps!
Take care and please

The only way is to buy a mini head phone amplifier and connect it to the audio out of the system. Even better is to buy a cordless headphone system. Available between 20 to 50 $

Hi there,
You aren't syncing it with the TV unless you want to use the remote to turn the TV on and off. Check the instruction manual, you want to sync it with the home theater box. I would also check the batteries to make sure they aren't dead. Beyond that, if syncing it to the box doesn't work, take a look in the manual for troubleshooting an unresponsive controller. It could also have defective hardware.

Hi,
Change/ reduce HDMI resolution in DAV-DZ810 so your tv can get proper video signal because it seems DAV-DZ810 is set on bit higher picture resolution and tv is unable to present that picture.
Thanks.
