try a master reset, if that does not cure it check for swollen caps in the switch mode power supply, replace all if a few are swollen.

check for swollen caps in power supply, next remove the hdd and fdisk it in a computer, put it back in and format/init the HDD

switch mode caps or blown audio ic/speaker. disconnect speakers and test one by one

capacitor failure in the switch mode power supply, use top quality 105Degree caps...if you look at the caps in the switch mode power supply the bad one will be swollen...common on all such items.

sounds like a common code from remote..not much you can do but block the infra red receiver on the revo.

First thing to do is to download the manual and see exactly what the fault indication is. Only a guess, but I'm thinking S-Protection stands for speaker protection. The speakers are protected by sensing relays and if too high a current is sensed it will turn the unit off. I would check the speakers first to make sure they are connected properly and/or are not shorted. If you have a multimeter, remove the speaker connections, put it on the volts scale and measure the voltage across each speaker pair + & -. They should be all the same (low mV). If they are not then one of your output transistors are faulty. Sorry probably not much help but good luck as these sort of problems can be hard to track down. Cheers

I suggest you try changing the sound modes to see if it improves the speech. Some TV have speech settings that will boost voices.

Possibly it is overheating. If it has a fan check it is working and not bunged up with fluff. Also check any speaker cables and the speakers for shorts or faults.

Sounds like a loose connection at the speaker. Check all cables to make sure they are secure. You even may have a corroded connector that's causing an intermittent connection under high vibration. (I'm assuming the speakers are remote from the unit.)
