By Start can you hear the pump out. or can you hear water filling the dishwasher?..if it only pumps out..it may be the Overfill protector. Check to make sure the overfill protector moves up and down freely. The overfill protector is located in the left front corner of the tub it looks like a little hat. it should move up and down easily. and you should feel/hear a click that is your float switch. also check the Door latch.
Open and close the door to make sure the door latch is securely fastened. Next you may take off the console, and reset that control board to keypad console connector , by taking that loose and reconnect it.
