How to install a bv9990

For those who want to play video and drive, just ground the video wire. You can always ground it using the black ground wire from the fuse box.

I just purchased a BV9998B audio system- but it

You need a wiring kit and a faceplate kit. If those can be had your in the clear as far as it WILL fit. When pulling out the radio pay attention to the mounts and wiring pigtails(bundle) including the plugs. If you can find matching plugs and decent mounting hardware and face plate your good to go. If the body of the Bose is bigger than space it has to mount into your in trouble. If you must cut the dash that is a whole other ballgame. Hope that helps..

Boss BV9992 screen flickers on and off and sound

Definitely sounds like a wiring problem. That would be my first stop. Check all the wiring and make sure the right wires are wired to the right spots.

How to bypass e brake

The only workaround I have heard of for these systems are modules you need to splice into the wiring harness like this one. They are fairly straightforward to install, and if you aren't that handy yourself, your local pro-car-audio install shop should be able to hook you up with one "to keep your passenger quiet".

I hope that helps.

Model pv3700. Why does it make a squealing noise?

If the mic is too close to the speakers, you get feedback. The easiest test for that cause is to unplug the mic. Lowering the volume could help if it is in fact feedback.
