Hi Mike Cronk,I see that you have a Bluetooth Headset and that you are tryingto connect it to your BB.You mentioned it will not play or you cannot hear Audio From it from your BB?Did the Bluetooth Headset sync to your BB? you need to make sure that the headset is sync properly on your BB and that the BB is dectecting your Bluetooth Headset. make sure that the BB is also set to be detected by any device for the Bluetooth to detect your BB as well for proper syncing of both devices.try your Bluetooth headset on another devices as well see if it will sync to a different device just to see if the Bluetooth headset is working fine.I hope this helps, michaelvincentc

I'm assuming you meant "Ipad2 cant find"
Some Bluetooth device cant be detected by The ipad as it states here in a review of the product
"We tested the iPad with several Bluetooth mono headsets, and while we were able to pair some of them with the iPad 2, we were unable to direct any of the iPad 2's audio to the headset, nor were we able to use the headset's microphone with applications that accept microphone input."

How to reset pairing so can pair with new phone

Hello.

If you have an existing phone with which the BT2080 is paired, delete your headset pairing connection in that mobile phone. If you are uncertain, please provide the brand and model of that phone.

Then, follow the pairing instructions again for the BT2080: Press and hold the On/Off button for 5 seconds. The Bluetooth indicator on the BT2080 will flash blue when ready.

Hope this helps.

Jabra BT2080 - been working

This problem is mostly associated with the battery of your device. In some cases, the battery is most likely to have expended it's lifespan.
In this case, all you need to do is to change the battery. It is advised that you get a professional to change the battery for you as trying to do this yourself could lead to a damage in the device.

My Blackberry is asking for the numeric pass key #

Most Bluetooth headsets require a passcode to sync with the phone and to make sure that is the device you want to sync with. Each of these manufactueres usually have a default passcode to use. It is usually in the manual.
For your Jabra BT2080 Bluetooth model the default code is: 0000 (4-zeroes)

How do i pair the headset with my mobile

How to Pair (Connect) a Bluetooth Headset to Your Phone

So you've heard of this new thing called "bluetooth..." But what is it? ...And what does it do for me? It's wireless technology that can link your phone to a headset, computer, another phone, or in extreme cases, your car and home.

We'll just start with the basics and connect a headset to the phone

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

* A Bluetooth cellular phone
* A Bluetooth Headset

Blue tooth can simply be called "a generic wireless technology that can connect your phone, computer, headset, PDA, laptop, and any other enabled device to each other."

In essences, it was designed to be a universal wireless connector between devices.

Ok... Here we go.
Make sure that both your phone and new headset are charged up.

Since every brand of headset is different, please refer to the instructions for "Pairing", but I will tell you how the most common headsets pair.

By the way, "Pairing" just means "connecting". If you find it more simple, you can substitute the word.

On most headsets, from the Headset being off, hold down the answer/end button down until the indicator light(s) glow a solid color (usually blue). This may take up to 10 seconds. They might flash first, then after a couple more seconds, go solid on.

On your handset, find the bluetooth menu.

On most phones, go to the settings menu, then to "connections" and then "Bluetooth". You are looking for a link to "Add a new device".

On Motorola phones, it is in the "Handsfree" link. Select [look for new device] select this option, and hit "OK".

Nokia Phones: look for "search for new audio enhancements". Hit OK.

On Samsung phones: **Bluetooth menu might be under "tools"** Look for "Add new device". Hit OK.

The phone will search for a couple seconds. If your headset is in paring mode, it will show up on the phone either with the name of device or something like this [unknown headset] or [b2.c3.f4.56.a1] (called a MAC address).

Either way, select it, and hit OK.

The phone will now ask you for a "Pin" or "Passcode", which is a 4 digit number. Headsets will ALWAYS have 0000 (four zeros) as a pin or passcode. I have never encountered a headset with a different number as a passcode. I have been in wireless for 10 years, and still have not found a headset that has any different numbers.

Enter these four zeros and select "OK"

The headset and phone will connect to each other. The phone will display a message that will be something to the effect of:
"Connected to headset".

At this point, the phone MAY ask if you want to use the headset. This means all audio from phone calls would be routed to the headset rather than in to the phone's speaker or earpiece. Select yes, or ok.

Your headset is now set up for you to talk on like a REALLY important CIA agent or something of the like...

Keep in mind that when a call comes in, the phone will still ring like normal.

You can answer the call by either:

1. Pulling the phone out of your pocket and hitting the answer button.
2. Touching the answer/end button on your headset without reaching for you phone.

The range of your headset is up to 30 feet, in a direct line of sight.

If you go into another room, your range may be decreased.

If you do happen to go out of range, the call will be transferred back to the phone, and as soon as you are in range again, touch the answer button on the headset to let the phone know you're back in range. It will re-transfer the call back to the headset.

If you turn off the phone, or headset, you can repair them again simply by going to the bluetooth menu and selecting the headset again from the list. It will reconnect without a pass code and you are up and running again.

*** Please note that you do not have to hold down the answer/end button on the headset until it goes a solid on again.

Tips & Warnings

If you have difficulty, please feel free to contact me and I'll help you get things sorted out.

Need operating instructions for Jabra BT 2080

ok i hope that you are trying to connect the bt device to a phone or game system or computer, the first thing you need to do is turn the power on to what you are connecting the blue tooth device to.your phone computer or game system, next you will have to put your blue tooth device into discovery mode, now most manufactures of blue tooth devices use the power button for this feature, when you turn the power on to your device keep holding down the power button for 6 to 10 seconds this will put your device into discovery mode, usually a light will remain on,then you can search or add new device from what it is you are connecting to,it will ask you for a pin or pairing code, now most manufactures of blue tooth devices use a factory 4 digit pin pairing code, they are as follows,0000,1234,9999,or 1111 enter the code and your device should pair and work with what it is you are pairring it to .i hope this helps

I have a jabra bt2080

Hey teresarushto, I'm having the same problem along with my ear gel basically melting in my ear. I got a toll free from the local cell phone store for Jabra. I called them and the only thing they offered was to replace the ear gels. They didn't even acknowledge the audio problem I told them about let alone offer me a replacement. Pretty brutal service for a company this large. The toll free number i got is 1-866-697-8757. Best of luck!
