Blinking clean light
If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, then repeats...
When
the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it will
stop working and lock the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all
buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the
element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.
To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...
-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry
...all
the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic
cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cycle finish (1-2
minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.
If
the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit
(ie. element, thermostat or wiring). It rarely happens but it could
also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed
(slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door
when you close it).
The door closer is broken. Now there is a white
for a problem such as that youll need to call someone to come repair the door latch. and the cord is just a cord. you can just push i back in the machine. unless of course you mean the cord is severed. in that case get an electrician
The door opens mid-cycle
This is a common occurance with this model, and honestly it's hit and miss to an actual repair...the best though is this. Call the sears parts department with your model and serial numbers (on the frame @ door opening) and tell them you need a latch and strike assembly, (I'm awful with part numbers or I'd provide it for you, but I've replaced a few) you should get an updated version of the original. All it is really, is a heavier/stronger latch assembly. Many have tried and failed to adjust door springs etc. That's not the problem.
hope it helps,
good luck.
Dishwasher
you have a unit that thinks it did not heat the water properly.
so do this, push the option buttons... this will enter the service mode and that will reset the error code you are seeing.
"high temp, air dry, high temp, air dry". push this sequence and then all the lights will light up and allow you to cancel the cycle.
then try the unit again and make sure you dont open the door while it is running.
the unit is looking for a rise in temps during the main wash cycle, there are a few other things that can cause this, but usually opening door or too low of water temps can cause this failure.
now go try this and get back to me if you need more help. tom
Start flashes and will not begin wash cycle
My dishwasher Model is 665 15891790 and the serie #FG3907905.
After programing my dishwasher and pressing the start button, it fills with water, but when it is due to start the sensing light comes on. I have notice that the ring under the watering arm on the bottom of the machine seams to be cracked. Could that be the problem for the machine not starting its' cycle.
Thank you.

There may be a thermal fuse located on the electronic control board housing that may have failed. This replaceable part (gray or white) is clipped on to the side of the housing.
Pump will not work
Make sure that the water shutoff is turned on. It is likely under the sink where the hot water line is tapped to feed water to the dishwasher. Do you have hot water at your sink?

Mark, you probabley blew the thermal fuse located on the main board. Easy fix. Part number 8269213. You can ohm it out to be sure. You have to remove the inner panel to get at the control board. The fuse sits on the top side and clips on. Two wires to it. Use the kit with the heavier wires so it doesn't happen again. Check out the attachment.

check the sump screen and make sure theres no obstructions.are the wash arm holes clogged?is the drain hose clogged?
My older built in Kenmore 3380957 Rev.A dishwasher.
If it is doing when it is washing, then it likely to be a problem with the pump, but it might just be 'hunting' because the filters are partially blocked. There is the filter that you can see easily, but there is a fine filter underneath that blocks with fine grey lint.
Water left in the bottom can be caused by that because the drain pump is past the filter and is on a timer.
