it's called the coefficient of thermal linear expansion. basically just leave the damn thing on for a few days and it shouild be ok. i left mine off for 2 months whilst on the hols. came back, turned it on and got no action from the scrn. left it for a coupla days and it was ok. so don't turn it off. ever.

its really a hard job to unclock a cdma phone . better consult your cdma network provider if such a thing is possible.
