I CAN'T OPEN THE CAMERA
Hi, the problem you are having is going to be down to one of three problems, now the first to you can try yourself but the last one requires you sending your phone into to have the camera replaced.
so try the following and see how you get on
1, if you phones battery is low or the software has crashed then the camera wont work so try the following, switch the phone off and remove the battery, leave the battery out for at least 5 min then put it back in and leave the phone off whilst you give it a full charge. Now switch the phone on and try the camera, if its still not working the try the following.
2, now another problem is to do with low memory on the phone, even though you may have a memory card this dont mean the phones memory is not full, all you need to do is go through your phone and delete any of the following that you dont need, inbox, outbox, sent, drafts in messages, also delete and picture messages, photos, videos, and ringtones you dont need or use as these take up loads of memory if they are stored on the phone and not the memory card so try doing that then switch the phone on and off to reset the phone then when its back on give the camera another try.
3 now if the above didnt solve your problem then this indicates one of two problems that you could possibly have, now the most likely cause is down to the firmware stored on the phone, this is the software that tells the phone what to do, is sort of like the way windows is on your computer the without the firmware your phone would not do anything other than light up, so the problem could be with the firmware, now you get problems with the firmware if you have downloaded or recieved a corrupt file or virus, you can get these from downloading music or rigntones videos etc or if sum1 has sent you anything they have downloaded then this cold have corrupted your firmware.
the only way of solving this problem is to take your phone in and have it reset and flashed with the latest firmware, just make sure you back everything up first as it will reset the whole phone to what it was when new so you will lose everything on the phone.
the other problem you could have is with the hardware on the phone now this could just be that the camera needs taking out and putting back in and this may solve the problem, your phone may have been knocked or dropped and you have lost the connection with the camera, or it could be the phone has got damp either by been in your pocket or from going from somewhere warm to some where cold or visa versa, or it could just be plain hardware failure and you may have a faulty camera, .
The good news is this part can be changed and should not cost to much, the best place to take it to is one of those independant phone shops and not one of those bigger branded shops as they will have to send it off and you wont get your phone back for couple of weeks so go to one of those smaller shops that sell new and second hand phones as these will be a lot cheaper and will be able to get it done by the next day or a couple of days at the most.
how ever i wouldnt attemp to do this work yourself as its not easy and you will destroy the phone, you need special tools to take the phone apart as its connected where it slides and its not easy and without the tools you wont get it apart and you would not put it back together without destroying it beyond repair.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
