If your PC had an onboard video card before this, you may want to go in and make sure you have disabled it in the BIOS. This has happened to me before.

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this right click to install driver also click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have made the correct adjustments there click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar hope this helps

It may be your RAM's prob. or your M board's.....try with any other RAMs....

Yes it could be the motherboard but i would go back and check all the connections before you come to the decision that the motherboard is bad.
Check that you have your connections right on the front panel header, also check the connectors to and from the PSU (power supply unit)
Check that the motherboard support the bus speed of the memory (usually its 400MHz)
Try clearing the CMOS too which is a small plastic coloured jumper next to or near the motherboard battery.

First check your motherbord POWER pin it is in corner of motherbord.
Just short that 2 pin with screw driver .
Read on motherbord corner you can find pin for Power up.
also reconnect cable from psu to motherbord.

best is noobs avoiding UEFI and 945 is 2005 tech, not modern UEFI bios .at all but do ask maker this. but 945 ended there.
