I have a Biostar TH55B
If it wasn't physically damaged when you did try with the memory, this tip will help you narrow down to the culprit.
First power off the machine, unplug the power cord, and everything else on the back, now open the case and disconnect/unplug the power connector/s, rams, Cmos battery, front panel connectors, front usb/audio and wait for few minutes. Now reconnect the power cord and the power connector/s. Select the power switch from the front panel connector and plug in to the respective connector, if the front panel connector is a bunch and you can't separate them, don't attempt this, instead you'll use a screwdriver or other metallic object but not now.
Also Connect the monitor and power on by shorting the power switch connector (front panel connector) or simply power on if you could plug in the power switch (I didn't tell you to uninstall the processor and the heatsink/fan).
Now check the outcome, whether you see any difference on the Bios screen or the Beep codes, if the Ram missing sound is beeping, then turn off by unplugging the power cord and install a Ram and then reboot with the same procedure. If it's ok and boots up well asking for a boot disk, then turn off the machine and install the hard disk. Try booting again and connect/plug in the remaining components one after another after every boot and reboot.
If the system never boots up even everything is uninstalled, and is still showing the error on the bios screen, then it's not possible to fix by End Users, you better claim the warranty (lying that it just happened) and get it replaced.
This process will take at least one hour, and you need proper concentration so that you might not make any mistakes. Definitely you'll be able to find out "What is the case" and of course the "how to resolve".
If you need further help, let me know.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.
