I am getting a 7 blink code what part # do I need and where can I get it

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

No reception with rabbit ears

Check to see if you have the "Rabbit ears" plugged into the correct spot and you are on "Analog tv" if you are trying to use digital tv on "Rabbit ears" it can't send out a strong signal like the areal ontop of a house. You may need to get an adapter to broadcast a stronger signal but even better if you can connect to roof antena.

My TV does not turn on power and the red right on

Hello,

When you have your televisions standby light blinking for about some time, it means there is a power problem affecting the television. It is recaiving power but not using it up.

The power problem is most likely caused by a bad capacitor or a bad power panel. The bad capacitor can either be on the main panel or the power panel.

To confirm, unplug your television for about an hour or two so the high voltage will dissipate, then you unscrew the screws that are at the back of the television to gain access to the main and power panels, then you carefully turn the back of the panel where you have the capacitors and check for bad capacitors, if it looks swollen, compressed, of burnt, then it is faulty.

The solution to that is for you to turn to the other side of the panel where you have the tip of the capacitors and melt off the burnt capacitor using a soldering iron, then fix in an new capacitor with the same capacity in the holes and solder it to the panel. Then cut off the extra tips of the capacitors, then fix the panel back on the television and couple it back together.

After doing that the television will be in good condition once again, and if there are no bad capacitors on both panels, then it means the power panel is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Take care and good luck.

We cannot control the volume

Hi.

the TV goes in standby and does not wake up, because the control board is sending TV on protect mode after detecting a fault.
When this happens higher voltages from psu get shut down to prevent further damage.

20 Blinks is not an error code, but I will do some more research on this.

Try first leaving the TV power cord unplugged for some times, let say one hour or so.

Also ensure that the fault is not coming from a faulty receiver box sending bad signal, check if you get same problem with no receiver box or dvd connected.

If that does not work, and you keep having a flashing led on front of the TV, and tv turning off by itself after a while, that indicates a fault condition.

The flashing light indicates a diagnostic state called protection.
When the TV goes on protection there are only two possible reasons.

1The internal circuits are jammed because of electrostatic charges accumulating on capacitors, or because of a wrong voltage read by the main chip on your monitor controller board. this started the protection circuit.

2 The protection circuit detected a wrong voltage or abroken contact, identified an internal fault and kicked in , startingthe flashing light.

If you are in situation one, then theTV will reset just unplugging power cord for one or two hours, sometimes even minutes.

If you are in situation 2 , then there is an internal fault.

Common faults that can occur are a blown capacitor on power board, a convergence IC has blown, or a fault on Digital board.

If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual

If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.
