Picture Is Too Big for Screen

Sounds like your cable box is zoomed in, I run into this a lot when running service calls. On most cable provider's remotes there is an 'aspect' button next to or around the '0'. Try that and see if it helps you out at all :)

Can't predict, what might have been happened during a lightning. Your set need a through checkup. Contact any experienced service technician.

If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock! Instead, contact the nearest service center.

I have a Samsung 55 in LCD tv that keeps powering on & off. I checked the caps & they look good and have the higher voltage rating of 25 volts not 12 volts. Any idea what the issue could be?

The capacitors can fail and show no outward signs. You need a special meter to check them. Without a schematic and voltage test points it would be hit and miss trying to find the bad part without the right test equipment.

Whats wrong with my Samsung 55" LN55B650 LN55B650T1F tv?

These are not meant to be repaired, just boards replaced.Follow if you are able the AC voltage into the set and then when it changes to DC follow that---confirm all voltages are present, a total dead set usually means something open not too far from the power cord.

I have a Samsung LN55B650, and cannot use the

OK the cable box remote is the only one that can change channels in this case. because you are using the tuner in the cable box not the TV.
all you need the TV remote for is to turn the TV on and off and turn the sound up and down. if you used the cable input on the TV then the tv remote would be used to change the channels.
