Memorex MVDP1085 Portable DVD Player Questions & Answers
Our Memorex DVD Player will
While I know this may sound odd, are you sure that the electrical outlet is powered? If it is then using a DVM check to make sure that the power supply is putting out the recommended voltage, probably 12vdc. If you have power then you need to make sure that the disc is spinning. One way to do this is to put a DVD in and hit play, after a couple of seconds open the tray and see if the disc is spinning. If it is you have a serious problem with the unit. It would probably not be repairable by you.
Thanks for using FixYa and for the generous rating.

I drop my 8'' memorex portable dvd player and broke the latch. mod
First on pieces that are broken you will want to rough surfaces with 220 grit sandpaper(if you cannot get paper use a sharp point like a needle to scratch mating surfaces)then if you are afraid of getting glue on anything else except sufaces use a toothpick to apply glue.(you can also coat other surfaces besides mating area carefully with vaseline so glue wont adhere to unwanted surfaces, just dont get on mating surfaces,or glue wont bond)when you coat both mating surfaces with glue then mate together, apply pressure for 5 mins or so then let fully cure, then see if your efforts paid off!!!!! Best of Luck to You !! amtnng :)

My memorex hdmi mirror for android isn't putting out wifi signal
It seems like the Wi-Fi module on your Memorex HDMI Mirror may be faulty or malfunctioning, preventing it from broadcasting a Wi-Fi signal. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Make sure your Memorex HDMI Mirror is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Move it closer to see if it picks up the signal.
Reset the Wi-Fi module by pressing and holding the reset button on the device for at least 10 seconds. Make sure the device is not connected to the TV while doing this.
Try connecting the Memorex HDMI Mirror to a different HDMI port on your TV to see if that resolves the issue.
Check if there are any firmware updates available for the device. If there are, update the firmware and try again.
If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Memorex customer support or take the device to a repair shop to have it checked for any hardware issues.

My memorex hdmi mirror for android isn't working
Hi,
Once memorex is connected to your tv and you've provided the correct username and password for your hotspot, then everything should work at least at some pace.
Please keep in mind that any type of streaming over mobile data maybe limited based on your mobile plan.
Whereas if you use, home or office based wifi, the streaming should be more fluid.
If still having an issue, please unplug and then plug back your memorex device before trying to connect to wifi again.
Thank you.

How do I do a channel search on a Memorex MLT1912 tv?
First, ensure that the TV is set to the TV (either NTSC (analog) or ATSC (digital)). To do this, press the Source button until this is the highlighted source. (The Source button is the second from the left (as you face the set) on the top of the TV. There is also a source button on the remote above and to the right of the arrow keys.) Next press the Menu button (center of the arrow keys on the remote or the button just to the right of the Source button on the TV). Use the navigation arrows to navigate the menus. The Channel up/down buttons mimic those arrow keys on the remote. Press the Volume Up or right arrow to select an item. Next select Setup and go to Preset. Select this sub-menu and go to Reception. Select the item and then set the mode to TV for over-the-air. Set this to CATV for cable on the antenna RF input. Press Menu repeatedly to go back in the menu system. Return to the Preset section of the Setup menu. Navigate to the Auto Install and select this. Wait for the TV to scan all channels for either NTSC or ATSC depending on the current Source. Exit the menu and change the source to the other TV tuner. Repeat the steps to Auto Install to store channels for both the analog and digital tuners.
The manual is available from ManualsLib here:
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/101765/Memorex-Mlt1912.html . See pages 5, 16 and 17 (pages 6, 17 and 18 as labeled by ManualsLib) for the screen shots and pictures of the remote control and front panel buttons for these steps.
Since there are only a few low-power NTSC stations still broadcasting, you may not find any stations when you scan for channels with NTSC as the source. Depending on the stations in your area, skipping the Auto Install step for NTSC may be appropriate. I hope this helps.
