I have bought samsung dvd player h1080 and it
Hello,
After searching the best known region hack databases I have found one process for your make and model. I can not assure you that it will work 100% but it's the only known process.
Turn on the Player with no disc on the tray. The tv screen and the dvd lcd will display "No Disk"
2. Press the "Repeat" key on the Samsung remote control
3. Press the keys: "5 7 5 3 8" on the remote. Number 2 appears on the screen for a short time.
4. Press "9". Number 9 is displayed on the screen.
5. Press the "Open/close" button in the remote. The tray will open. Leave it open for a few seconds.
6. Just press the "On/off" button in the remote.
7. You now have a multi-region dvd player!!
I hope this works for you, thank you for choosing Fixya!

Our Samsung DVD-H1080 DVD Player
Are you using the remote or touch button on case to eject tray?
Sometimes the top lid gets warped and prevents the tray from opening. Press eject and lift the front part of the lid at the same time.

Unlock region code for Samsung DVD-H1080
After getting clarification from Fixya I can pass the links below to you to check yourself
Some players are harder than others to do this but you may want to try here or here
Comments:
Toshiba's and JVC's are the harder ones to do
I use a Phillips myself as it is not only cheaper but has much more going for it than many of the higher end units. i throw anything at it and it just plays
The older the unit that harder it is to do the region free thing with.
I let my EX have the panasonic (big grin)
If you cant find a fix then look at the codes available for cheaper brands and how easy it is to do it before you purchase one.
Just a thought.
Hope this gives you the information you need

It would be very decent of you to consider the quality of our experts answers and judge them accordingly as you pass through FixYa.
Thank you
PS. If you dont find it on there then a google search for "region free" will probably get you other sources but AVOID any that want money as there are plenty of FREE sites out there that do this.

I need the multi region code for a Samsung DVD
Sorry, there isn't one. Your model is not hackable.
The usual Samsung hacks involve using the remote to enter the correct numbers but your model has no number keypad on the remote. Substituting a universal remote also does not work and I've been informed by Samsung that the region coding on this model is hardware encoded just like on many Sony and Panasonic models so you cannot even override the coding using a service centre remote control (I've tried). I discovered this when a friend purchased a large quantity of clearance overstock region 6 DVD H1080's and asked me to convert them for resale in the UK (region 2).
To hack your model requires internal hardware replacement and this is not economically viable.

Just got a samsung H1080 DVD player playing black and white only
The component connection should have one red, one green, and one blue connector that will connect to the back of your player and the back of your television. Then there should also be another red and a white connector that should run from the AUDIO L & R OUT of your player to the AUDIO L & R IN beside the Component IN connections on your TV. The yellow cord would normally be running from the VIDEO OUT on the back of your player to one of the VIDEO IN connections of your TV.
