I have had this dvd

Check and replace all cable connections from the DVD player to TV. This can sometimes correct the 'colour-phase' error (for example, all-green or all-red).

On the other hand, if changing the cable connections doesn't solve this issue, then it sounds like a video problem within the player. This can only be investigated by a qualified technician in a fully equipped workshop - take the player into them - get a quote (on the actual problem(s) and possible repair cost(s) involved) before making a decision to go further, this is not a consumer-repairable situation. The cost of the repairs (if you go ahead with their quote) may or may not be expensive. Up to you.

I assume your normal TV channels are the correct colour. If so, get the player checked. Or if it is going to be too expensive to fix, consider replacing the player as new Blu-Ray players are becoming cheaper nowadays while repairs to DVD players become more expensive/uneconomical. If not, then the TV is the problem, get that checked by a technician.

Panasonic DVD players are generally reliable units overall. An unusual fault you describe. Generally these players fail to read discs.

DVD S54 player. The

Does the player's display still read 'HELLO' and won't show 'NO DISC' after that? If so, it's likely to be a workshop repair. This cannot be fixed by the consumer. If the player does go beyond 'HELLO' to 'NO DISC' but the drive tray won't open, then it would be a fault between the drive itself and its digital control circuit, which in this model would be part of the motherboard. Assuming the power supply has no problems of its own, then the only course of action you would really have here is to submit the unit to an authorised service centre, get a quote on any repair cost(s) involved, along with a second opinion. (the second opinion will give you minimal details of the exact nature of the fault(s) and allow you to make a decision as to whether it is worth fixing or to buy a new one, since it is not a recorder).

I hope the DVD drive itself is not the primary fault area, but rather the circuit controlling it - easier to determine by a qualified technician.

The decision is yours, and your course of action is based on the age of your existing player. If it is still relatively new and under some warranty, you might be able to get this fixed at no cost to you. If it is not, it will be expensive/uneconomical.

Panasonic hds700tds playing audio no videos

  1. Check the Input Source: Make sure you have selected the correct input source on your TV for the device you are using. Use the remote control to cycle through the input options until you find the one connected to your video source.
  2. Check Video Connections: Ensure that all video cables (such as HDMI, component, or composite cables) are securely connected between your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. A loose or faulty cable connection could result in a loss of video signal.
  3. Restart the TV and Video Source: Try restarting both your TV and the device you are trying to watch content from. Power off both devices, wait a few moments, and then power them back on. This can sometimes resolve temporary glitches or issues with the video signal.
  4. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your TV's firmware is up-to-date. Sometimes software updates can resolve compatibility issues or bugs that may be affecting video playback. Check the settings menu on your TV for an option to update the firmware, or visit the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to do so.
  5. Reset Video Settings: If you've made any changes to your TV's video settings, such as resolution or picture mode, try resetting them to their default values. This can sometimes resolve issues with video playback.
  6. Try a Different Device: If possible, try connecting a different device (such as a DVD player or gaming console) to your TV to see if the issue persists. This can help determine whether the problem lies with the TV itself or with the original device you were using.
  7. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible there may be a hardware problem with your TV. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to schedule a repair.

I have a Panasonic 50-in flat screen TV a storm came by and knocked out my TV and my Yukon no breaker was off so did it come through the antenna please help

  1. Check the Power Cord: Ensure that the power cord is securely plugged into both the TV and the power outlet. Make sure there are no visible signs of damage to the power cord or the plug.
  2. Inspect the Power Outlet: Try plugging another electronic device (such as a lamp or a phone charger) into the same outlet to verify if it is functioning properly. If other devices work fine, then the issue is likely not with the power outlet.
  3. Check for Tripped Circuit Breakers: Check your circuit breaker or fuse box to see if a circuit breaker has been tripped or a fuse blown. If so, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse and try plugging in your TV again.
  4. Test with Different Power Source: If possible, try plugging your TV into a different power source altogether, such as a different room or building. This will help determine if the issue is specific to the power source you were previously using.
  5. Contact Panasonic Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue and your TV still does not power on, it's likely that there is a hardware problem with the TV itself. In this case, you may need to contact Panasonic customer support for further assistance or to arrange for repairs. Be sure to provide them with details of the troubleshooting steps you've already taken.
Hope this helps
