Hi,
Most ranges require a 50 amp breaker...if it is electric.
but most gas ranges can run off of a 20 amp circuit..

It appears your ERC/CLOCK has failed in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.

HI, This is a board fault code. The entire control board is damaged. Possible logic chip failure. This will require you to replace the entire board. this type of damage is not repairable.

F-1 - Board Failure(also called EOC or clock).

Need a manual for Kenmore range model 790.71463703

The instructions said to screw down the valve at the back of the oven. We turned the valve down until it seemed to be seated, but the problem still persisted. So, against all reason, we hunkered down and put some muscle on the wrench ... ah, no cheater pipe, though. The valve turned slightly more than another full twist. That solved the problem.

I am a bit put out that someone at our house misplaced or lost the manual (if it's misplaced, is that lost?). But I am full-fledged pissed off that we have to pay to get support and that there is no online manual, or we have to write an email and then wait a day for a response. In the greed for ever greater exploitation of the consumer, businesses have sold their manuals to "manual.com" and the defenseless consumer must pay to join, pay for the manual, and ... O Lord, what other insults and invisible costs lay in wait for us ... and us so innocent!

However, that being said, I do appreciate your response this AM.

Oven door locks and un locks code F90

The F90 fault indicates that the maximum time allowed for oven door unlock was exceeded. The control attempted to unlock the door. The door lock motor or mechanism failed to unlock the door within the maximum amount of time it is allowed to be energized by the control board.

It is unlikely that you will be able to reset this fault code. You can try to completely disconnect electrical power and leave it off for 5 minutes. After reconnecting power, the fault code will probably reappear since the control will still detect that the oven door is locked. The only way to clear the fault code is to disassemble the range and repair or reset the oven door lock assembly. You will need a service technician to complete this repair.

The F10 indicates that the electronic oven control board senses a runaway temperature condition in the oven through the oven sensor circuit.
This can be caused by a faulty oven temperature sensor probe or a failed electronic control board.
Oven temperature is detected by the control board as it monitors the resistance through the oven temperature sensor circuit.
You could have a failed oven temperature sensor, a wiring harness failure, an open thermal switch or a failed electronic oven control board that would cause this problem.
The first component to check would normally be the oven temperature sensor probe.
If you have a volt/ohm meter, you can shut off the breaker for the range and remove the screws that mount this sensor to the back wall of the oven.
Carefully pull the wire harness into the oven cavity until you get to the wire harness disconnect plug.
You should have enough slack to pull it this far into the oven.
Disconnect the sensor but do not let the wire harness retract back through the back wall of the oven or it will be hard to reconnect.
Measure the resistance of the oven temperature sensor with your volt/ohm meter. At room temperature, the resistance should measure around 1100 ohms.
The resistance chart is shown in the image below.

If the resistance is above 2200 ohms at room temperature, then the sensor probe is causing the F10 error code and will need to be replaced.

You can order a new sensor probe from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the sensor is 316217002.

If the resistance is normal, then one of the other causes mentioned above is producing your F10 code.
You would need to access the electronic oven control board (Timer) in the console and check the resistance at the sensor circuit connection to the control board as the next step in troubleshooting this problem.

Kenmore oven (Model No. 970-512421) not working (cook tops and oven). Started with range coils slowly heating or not at all. Oven would take long to heat up. Now neither works. I replaced one of the range coils, but did not work. I do not have any electronics testing equipment

This could be the sensor, the control board or other issues. The relays are almost never the issue.

Hi, I have a Kenmore Elite Gas Range Oven model # 790.7921. The stovetop and broiler work correctly but the oven element is heating up, you can smell some natural gas, the burner ignitor does not light but it will light with a lighter and produce a small flame and then extinguishes itself within a few minutes. The oven does not get up to temperature.

sorry but we do not advise self fixing of gas appliances they go BOOM and can burn your house down if not done properly

Hello everyone and thank you for listening to me. I have a Kenmore stove/oven model number 790 72909015. It has four burners and a center burner. The right side works fine. The left front ignites properly. When I turn on the left rear to light I hear clicking and see sparking in the left front and nothing in the left rear. I can like that one with a match. When I try to light the center I get the same situation I see sparking I hear clicking in the left front! I do not see a spark at the center burner. Again I could like that burner with the match. I searched the internet using https://www.google.com and could not locate an error code of EO 29.

Without knowing the model number of the stove, I found error codes for a Kenmore 790 that may be for a similar condition.

If you didn't replace a part before the code appeared and the wire harness connections are okay, replace the touch panel. If the problem continues, replace the user interface control board.
