I dropped my ti 86 and now the top left corner is
The Screen Was knocked out of place, the problem is pretty much just a moved part from the drop. you should probably get someone to repair it. I do not recomend attempting to fix it yourself, this can result in even bigger problems with the calculator.

Having gone over half a year without a response to my query, I assume my suggested contrast adjustment solved the problem.

Is a watch battery the same as the one used on the
Don't you mean CR1616? The TI-86 can use either the CR1616 or the CR1620 battery. The -20 is slightly thicker than the -16 but there is enough flex in the system to accomodate it.

I turn on the TI-86 and the entire screen is dark.
Adjust the screen contrast. Turn on the calculator. Press and release the 2ND key, then press and hold the down-arrow key for a couple of seconds. If you go too far, use the 2ND and up-arrow keys.

Yes. Look in the calculus menu (2nd [CALC]). You'll find nDer, der1, and der2 for numerical differentiation and fnInt for numerical integration.

How can I solve an error 13 dimension, when I need
From the manual:
You entered an argument with an inappropriate dimension.
You entered a matrix or vector dimension less than 1 or greater than 255 or a non-integer.
You attempted to invert a matrix that is not a square matrix.
If you can't figure it out from here, please reply to this post telling us what you were plotting or attempting to plot when you got this error.

I just changed the batteries and the screen is
I had the same problem as this. This is because when you might have
changed the contrast on your calculator when your old batteries were
running low and you need to reset the contrast. Here is what you do:
press
the orange "2nd" button, then press the "down arrow" button, then the
orange "2nd" button, then the "down arrow". do not press the buttons at
the same time only one after the other and KEEP GOING. The screen will
eventually lighten up and you are all set.

Send program from one TI-86 to another TI-86
First, connect the two calculators with the unit-to-unit cable.
Prepare the receiving calculator: press 2ND [LINK] F2.
Select the item to send on the sending calculator: press 2ND [LINK] F1 F2. For each program you want to send, navigate to it using the up/down arrows and press F2. Press F1 to send.

My screen is to dark to see whats on it. How do i
Turn the calculator on. Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the down-arrow key until the screen lightens. If you go too far, press and release the 2ND key, then press and hold the up-arrow key.
