I have a brother GX6750 typewriter do not understand how to install correction ribbon
well, the correction ribbon is for erasing mistakes, it literally, pulls the ink off the paper, but you have to hit the correction button, the type writer will back up and pull the ink, but you would hear ait and be able to tell the diff. Typing the wrong letters
First try opening and closing the top cover. If that does not reset the print wheel to the correct characters, check and make sure the correction tape is not interfering with the wheel as it spins. If that is not the case remove the print wheel and make sure non of the spokes are bent. If they are you can try bending them back to the right position or you may have to replace it.
