Don,t know how you cleaned them but it sounds like you got liquid of some kind down in the keyboard. If so, it will need to come apart.

Most office suppliers should have it. Very common tape.

Sounds like a bad clutch. Not a major repair but one you really can't do yourself.

The spoke on yuor printwheel is probably bent or broken. A new P/W would be best but if it is bent you may be able to align it.

I assume you removed the space bar, when you put it in where is a wire that makes both sides go down together this must be properly installed.

Check the "pitch selector" slide control...it is probably on PS....it should be on 10, or 12 to match the printwheel you are using.

If you are not in KB II or por portonial space the P/W homing pawl is broken, you need a tech.

If youb didn't remove the L/O tape you may have a very old ribbon or a non correctable one the feed knob should be yellow or orange.

YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE RIBBON DRIVE. IF U LOOK LETTERS ARE OVERTYPING ON THE RIBBON. COULD BE JUST A FAULTY RIBBON
