If you don't have a User's Guide, go to the Brother web site and download it. But as a quick fix, you can access the menu function and navigate to settings and find the outgoing fax number place. Then you can change the number and name as you desire.

Check paper error won't go away

All these machines use little, black, plastic levers to detect the paper. One end of the lever goes through the light beam of an "optical interrupter," and the other sticks into the center of the paper path, where it's pushed by the paper as it runs through the machine. My guess is that the jam or your attempts to clear it knocked one of these sensor levers out of its pivots, so it doesn't swing properly. If you look carefully into the paper tray and the path the paper takes through the machine, you'll probably find a couple of these levers, and one of them is probably sitting at an angle. If you can hold the sensor assembly in you hands, it's a simple matter to snap the lever back into its pivots. If you're just working through the little slot the lever sticks up through, you might get lucky, but it's much harder.

Brother MFC-L3770CDW says no toner after we added black toner and it won't reset. We reset the toner counter and display shows all color are full. We have also cleaned the corona wires.

The toner container requires resetting.
The Brother limited warranty does not apply to any problem that is caused by the use of third party drum units, toner cartridges, or toner. ... Installing a non-Brother toner cartridge or refilling a toner cartridge will not clear a toner low or toner empty indication on the machine.
Use a Brother cartridge.

Brother sx-4000 hitting enter make wheel move from right margin to left margin. Sometimes it make a weird noise and get stuck and afterward the left margin is a few space inward

I will suggest you download the manual and then understand the issues. However, for now, perform a factory reset. I think there is no reset option for original toner cartridge but you should try and let me know.

I have a Brother MFC-9330 laser printer. I replaced the 3 color toners with a generic brand and everything had been printing well until recently. Everything is printing about 1/2 too low on the page.

Brother does not want you to use generic cartridges.
