I'm assuming that you are referring to the charging clip . In that case it will have to be replaced and that it's something that not even i would at home - you need a properly equipped shop to make such a complicated and delicate repair.

To connect the Forerunner to a computer, it is essential that you download "antagent" (free ) from the garmin site.

Have you done this?

You then have to pair the Forerunner with the computer.

If you haven't got the instructions, go to the Garmin web site (www8.garmin.com/support/userManual.jsp) and download the manual.

It is not under warranty as is not any physical/mechanical damage caused by the wearer. But the good point is - you can send it back with the request to fit the new one. And you will have to pay for it.

Check the connections for dirt and corrosion. Also see if the drivers are installed.
